Body found in Co. Louth this morning

The body of a 27-year-old man has been found in Co. Louth today.

The body was discovered at a house in the Rosevale Crescent area of Dunleer, at around 9am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where a postmortem examination will be performed this evening.

Gardaí have conducted house-to-house enquiries, and have called for witnesses to come forward.
