The body of a boy who disappeared during a camping trip has been found, reports Metro.

Adam Perkins, 24, was last seen leaving his home in Sheffield at around 8pm on 20 March.

He was reported missing while camping near Great Ayton in North Yorkshire, reports Metro.

Police confirmed they found a body in the same area last night while looking for Adam.

While a formal identification has yet to be made, his family is notified.

Officers conducted the search after locating Adam’s car on Thursday.

He knew the area and had been there before to visit the cave, reports Metro.

The 28-year-old was last seen at 11.30pm on Saturday in the Kinloch Rannoch area of Perthshire, Scotland.

He’d camped on the shores of Loch Rannoch with some friends and his friends thought he’d get some sleep, but he was nowhere to be found Sunday morning.

Officers were appealing to anyone recently seen walking nearby to get in touch if they have any information on them.

He was described as being of slim build and approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, reports Metro.

He was seen walking along the road between Leran Farm and Aulich on the north shore of Loch Rannoch at around 11.30pm on Saturday 18 March.
