A body was found during the search for a missing woman over the weekend. Paulina Biernacka, 26, was reported missing from Abbey Hey, east Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police said she left her house without taking anything with her or money, prompting an urgent appeal from friends and officials.
However, the search was called off after a body was found in Debdale Park in Gorton. This has been confirmed by the Greater Manchester Police that the body is that of the missing woman.
