A man has lost his life today following an accident in West Cork.
His body was discovered between two trawlers on Dinish Pier, in Castletownbere, just after 2pm.
Local coastguard and the rescue 115 helicopter attended the scene and helped in bringing the body ashore.
The man, thought to be a fisherman, was pronounced dead at 2.45pm.
