The search for the missing young man has sadly ended in a tragic outcome.
The body of 25-year-old man Jason McNulty has been located in the Rosscam area of Galway.
McNulty, originally from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, had been staying with friends in the Connacht Hotel in Galway city, and had last been seen on CCTV standing outside the hotel at around 6am on the day he disappeared.
An extensive campaign on social media was launched.
His sister has today thanked everyone involved in the search.
