The ongoing crisis at aircraft manufacturer Boeing is likely to deepen today, after documentation referring to the ill-fated 737 MAX model as ‘designed by clowns’ surfaced online.
The messages appear to show that some Boeing staff had little faith in the aircraft, and were particularly disdainful of the US aviation regulatory body, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The 737 MAX model remains grounded worldwide, after two deadly crashes that killed over 300 people.
Shortcomings in pilot training for the MAX model came to light shortly after the crashes.
