Irish Water has lifted the boil water notice affecting upwards of 600,000 people across Dublin, Kildare, and Meath.
The notice was put in place on Tuesday after routine testing detected the presence of harmful bacteria in the water.
Samples analyzed today confirmed that the water is safe to consume again.
