A boil water notice remains in place for some areas of Co. Kildare today, following a technical issue on Saturday.
It is understood that some 5,700 customers served by Monasterevin Public Water Supply are being forced to boil their water since problems arose with the disinfection process over the weekend.
This is just the latest example of the disastrous performance displayed by Irish Water from the start.
