Protesters attempted to storm the Bulgarian Parliament during a demonstration against Covid restrictions on Wednesday.
Around 3,000 people gathered outside the building amidst heavy police presence.
The situation turned violent and scuffles broke out between protesters and police. A number of politicians came out of the building to address the people gathered.
Bulgaria is another country plagued by the so-called ‘health pass’, given to the vaccinated only, even though this cohort becomes as sick as the unvaccinated and can transmit the disease just as efficiently, so the point of the ‘pass’ is unclear.
