Bord Gáis have announced that electricity and gas increase from next month.
In an announcement the company said the average gas bill will increase by 12.7%, whilst there will be a 11.6% on the average electricity bill.
Bord Gais say the increase comes as the price of wholesale energy costs have increased in recent months.
Under the new pay increase the average electricity bill could rise by €11.39, whilst gas bills will increase by €8.36 per month.
