Remainer MP’s in the UK parliament have succeeded in passing a law blocking a no-deal Brexit. The Europhiles hope that with little chance of a new deal being agreed between the UK and EU, this will postpone and eventually overturn the largest democratic vote in British history.

However, despite this UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson again reiterated, in front of a an overtly hostile Irish press no less, that the he will not be seeking an extension to the October 31st Brexit deadline regardless.

With parliament being prorogued until October 13th and the EU insisting that the current framework for the UK-EU divorce is non-renegotiable, we face the real prospect of a criminal charges being brought against a serving UK Prime Minister should UK separate from the EU on Halloween.

With the prospect of a general election, polls show the Conservative Party would win the most seats in the UK parliament not enough to form a government with the support of the DUP.
