The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson given permission to children in the UK to go ahead with their Nativity plays, despite a rise in cases and the presence of the Omnicron variant.
Along with that, Johnson said that people are allowed to still go to their Christmas parties as planned – with no major clampdowns on parties at all.
He said that there had to a balanced approach with covid in relation to restrictions and living life.
On the other hand, the Irish government has told children not to participate in Nativity plays with Holohan saying people must avoid Christmas parties at all costs.
