It’s understood that the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will seek an extension if no Brexit deal is completed by October 19th.

It’s also believed that Johnson is set to attempt to prorogue the Westminster Parliament again following by a decision by the British Supreme Court to overrule his previous prorogation last month.

The Lord President of the Privy Council, Jacob Rees-Mogg, will visit Queen Elizabeth II again to request her formal assent for Parliament to be suspended on Tuesday October 8th until Monday October 14th, at which time a Queen’s Speech will outline PM Johnsons agenda.

The UK Supreme Court’s annulment of the previous prorogation of parliament last month was seen as a severe blow to embattle Prime Minister Boris Johnson with many calling on him to resign or even face criminal charges for “deceiving the Queen”.

With Britain set to leave the EU on October 31st, it appears as though Prime Minister Johnson is set on running down the clock. While the Prime Minster insists, he is seeking a deal, the likelihood of a no-deal Brexit is increasing by the hour.
