The UK has been hit with more restrictions – some say are incredibly stringent but their covid numbers are going up and up over the past 3 weeks.
The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said:
“You must not meet socially in groups of more than six. If you do then you are breaking the law. I’m sorry about this and that we have to take this step.”
Johnson said that initially it will be £100 per breach but that people could be arrested if they are caught persistently breaking the six-people gathering rule.
