Few people in this world can say that they were born among the clouds in the sky.
Vera Jaber, a 33-year-old woman from Jordan, went into labor over the Atlantic while on a New York-bound Royal Jordanian flight from her home country.
Jaber, who was travelling alone, gave birth to a healthy 6 pound 5 ounces baby girl almost three hours ahead of the plane’s landing at its destination. A doctor and a nurse onboard the flight helped her to deliver the baby.
Upon landing, mother and baby were taken to a hospital in Queens, New York, where both are said to be doing well.
