Gardaí in Co Clare have tragically confirmed that a 12-year-old boy and a man aged in his 20s were killed in a road traffic collision in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood the pair were killed after the car they were travelling in crashed in Quinspool, Parteen, in Clare, at approximately 12am.
Gardaí say two other males both aged in their 20s were taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries.
It is understood that four units from Limerick Fire Service attended the scene for approximately 2 hours.
