Gardaà in Co Cork say a 4-year-old boy is in serious condition in hospital following a road traffic incident on Thursday.
It is understood the boy was taken to Cork University Hospital following the incident which occurred Knockpogue Avenue, Farranree, at approximately 2:45pm yesterday afternoon.
The boy’s condition has been described as serious and Gardai have said an investigation is underway.
