Police in the UK have confirmed that a teenage boy has been seriously injured after being struck by a number of cars on a motorway.
According to Sky News, the teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a number of cars on the M5 motorway.
It is understood the incident occurred just outside Oldbury at approximately 11:15am on Wednesday morning.
Police investigating the incident say the young boy was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital where he remains in serious condition.
It is currently not known how the boy ended up on the motorway, but officers say an investigation is currently ongoing.
