Gardaí in Limerick have begun an investigation after a boy was injured after a vehicle collided with a child’s scooter on Wednesday evening.
It is understood boy was taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries following the incident.
Gardaí say the boy was struck by the vehicle on the Hyde Road at approximately 6pm.
Investigating officers are calling on anyone with any information to contact them at Roxboro Road Garda Station on 061-214340.
