A 29-year-old Irish man has tragically died following an accident near the Bansko mountain ski resort in southwestern Bulgaria.
The incident occurred when the man, who was part of a group taking photographs of the scenery, lost his balance and fell from a height of approximately 600 meters (1,900 feet). He was discovered by a mountain rescue service and transported to a hospital in the nearby town of Razlog, where despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his severe injuries.
