Gardai have tonight confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has sadly died following a workplace accodent in Co. Donegal
A tragic workplace accident in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, has resulted in the death of a man in his 60s.
The incident took place around 1pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, prompting a response from Gardaà and emergency services. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was subsequently removed for a post-mortem examination.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified and attended the site. A file will be prepared for the Coroner’s Court as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
