A 3-yr-old Irish boy is fighting for his life tonight after a swimming pool incident in Spain this morning.
It’s understood that emergency services were called at 9.15am this morning when he was found floating in a pool at the Cabo Roig urbanisation pool in Orihuela, Alicante.
Emergency personnel performed CPR until 10:15am at the resort and managed to revive him. He was then rushed to hospital by helicopter.
Hospital staff have declared that the boy is in critical condition and is fighting for his life.
No details as to where the boy is from has been released at this time.
