The Department of Health have confirmed that 7 people have died from coronavirus today and 28 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 25,163 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 1,670 deaths.
Community transmission stands at around 60%.
