A man was arrested following an attack on a garda in Dublin city centre this evening on Capel Street, shortly after 6pm.
The garda, who was on a high-visibility patrol, was stabbed in an unprovoked assault. He was rushed to hospital, thankfully with non-life-threatening injuries.
