The metropolitan police have confirmed they have detained a man who attacked two police officers at the entrance to Buckingham Palace.
The incident happened shortly before 9pm and police are on the scene.
It’s understood the man didn’t gain access to the grounds of the Palace was attempting to when the officers intervened.
