A man in his mid 60s has been arrested and taken into garda custody after a man in his late 30s was found stabbed to death in a house in County Galway.
The crime scene is in the Mervue area of the county with no further details released other than the deceased man was pronounced dead at Galway University Hospital this morning.
Gardai have not confirmed if the men were strangers or related.
