There was some sad news announced this afternoon as Gardaí in Co Cork confirmed that man has died after his car hit a wall in Co Cork this morning.
Gardaí say the man aged in his 40s was the only occupant of the vehicle when he crashed into the wall at Ballinwillin Strand in Ballycotton at approximately 10am.
The man has since been transferred to Cork University Hospital where a postmortem will take place.
