A 19-yr-old man from west Cork died in a two-vehicle collision on the N71 between Ballinhassig and Innishannon, Co Cork, at approximately 7:15am today. The crash involved a car, driven by the deceased, and a truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
