In what can only be described as an absolute demolition, the old dog Alexander Povetkin has knocked out Dillian Whyte cold in Matchroom Square Garden.
For the first 4 rounds, it seemed as though Povetkin couldn’t get going and even got knocked down twice himself but come into 5th round, Povetkin knocked Whyte out clean in the 5th round with an upper hook.
It means that Povetkin will now fight either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury for the WBC title.
