Britain’s Andy Murray has just announced that he’s pulling out of Wimbledon.
The most famous tournament in the world will not have the Scot in attendance this year after his elongated injury absence.
After Wimbledon 2017, Murray needed hip surgery after an injury that plaqued him for many months.
Pivoting off his hip at Queen’s Club last month couldn’t see him get past round 1.
Murray was then beaten by the British #1 Kyle Edmund last week and has today said that he thinks it’s too soon to try a 5 set tournament.
Wimbledon starts tomorrow at 11:30am on BBC 1.
