
A man aged in his 60s has sadly died after he was struck by a car in Co Meath on Friday night.
The incident happened at around 10.40pm at Flowerhill in Navan.
It’s understood that the man’s body was removed to Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, where a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later today.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 60s, was not injured in the incident.
The road at Flowerhill in Navan remains closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place at the moment.
