Shocking news is emerging from California, basketball legend Kobe Bryant has been killed in a helicopter crash. He was 41 years old.
He spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the LA Lakers. Sadly, he was one of five people on board a helicopter when it crashed in the city of Calabasas, which is situated west of Los Angeles shortly after 6pm Irish time.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa and his four children Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and Capri, who was only born last June
