The Department for Health has confirmed that 5 people have died from coronavirus today and 611 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 39,601 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 1,825 deaths.
