A 41-yr-old Canadian tourist who was assaulted in Dublin nine days ago has sadly died in hospital.
Canadian tourist Neno Dolmajian, who was from Montreal, was disgracefully attacked on O’Connell Street in the early hours of 23 June.
The tourist sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Mater Hospital, where he passed away Tuesday afternoon.
His parents and sister who had travelled from Canada were at his bedside when he died.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the attack and two men have appeared in court, including two migrants.
24-yr-old Ionut Danca with an address at Rathdown Square, North Circular Road, in Dublin and 23-year-old Madalin Ghiuzan, with an address at Summerhill Parade in Dublin, have both been charged with assault causing harm to Mr Dolmajian, reports RTE.
Both migrants have been refused bail at the Dublin District Court and remanded in custody.
