A bus caught fire during the morning rush hour in Drogheda, Co Louth this morning.
A huge fire engulfed the entire back and side of the bus during peak traffic as people made their way to work and school on the Donore Rd outside the Bus Depot.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the fire brigade managed to extinguish the blaze. It’s not yet known how the fire started but it’s understood that no one was seriously injured.
Traffic is diverted with the entire town’s traffic moving slowly as a result.
Gardai are to release a statement as to the cause of the fire later today.
