In breaking news this evening, the HSE has announced that another 204 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Republic of Ireland.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 1,329.
Tragically however another patient with covid-19 has died on the east of the country. He was a male and had an underlying health condition.
Earlier, Northern Ireland health department announced another 24 confirmed cases in the north bringing the total there to 172.
