The Department of Health have confirmed that there’s been a massive jump as a total of 41 people have died and 548 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland with a further 284 older samples returning from Germany.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 11,479 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a totalĀ 406 deaths.
Community transmission stands at 60%.
