In what can only be described as an astonishing press conference, the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that the government expect a 30% increase DAILY from now on.
Varadkar said that we are at the start of the upward curve and he said that hundreds of thousands of Irish people could get coronavirus.
Meanwhile Simon Coveney said that there is going to be an absolute surge across the country with the HSE under major pressure.
