There’s been a very large jump in cases of confirmed coronavirus over the past 24 hours with 27 new cases being confirmed by the HSE.
The HSE report an additional 27 cases that were diagnosed and reported to them up until midday on Thursday with at least 9 clusters.
22 are contacts with confirmed cases, two are related to travel and two are health workers.
Two more people have had no contact with anyone. It means that there’s now 90 confirmed cases on the island of Ireland.
