An Post have confirmed that all post offices and services will operate as normal.
In a statement released today, the postal service confirmed that all post offices across the country will remain open as normal.
The company also confirmed that all mail and parcel deliveries will be carried out.
However items will not be shipped or collected from China or Mongolia.
An Post say they are continuing to monitor the situation and will follow any advice provided by the Department of Health.
