Many on social media claim that it’s time to reopen the country and the latest case numbers indicate exactly why they think like that.
The Department for Health has confirmed that no one has died from coronavirus today and 403 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 243,618 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,826 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 49.
