The Department for Health has confirmed that 18 people have died from coronavirus today and 358 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 241,684 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,803 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 8.
Today’s numbers are the lowest since mid December.
