Gardai in Co Tipperary have sadly confirmed that a 3 year old girl has died following a road traffic accident this afternoon.
According to RTE News, the young girl was killed after being struck by a bus whilst playing near her home in Carrick-on-Suir, at approximately 4:30pm
Gardai say the girl was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
