The Department for Health has confirmed that 5 have died from coronavirus today and 461 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 264,204 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,872 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 46.
