The Department for Health has confirmed that 1 person has died from coronavirus today and 765 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 86,804 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 2,205 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 34, which is down from last week.
