There is an extremely serious situation currently going on in Naas general hospital.
An ambulance exploded and went up in a blaze of fire. One person has been confirmed dead and others have been seriously injured. It’s not yet known whether the deceased is a patient or emergency worker.
The hospital has been evacuated and emergency services have rushed to the scene.
