There is a 5 mile tailback on the M1 motorway heading north after a large crash at exit 2.
Emergency services are on site with at least two ambulances to Dublin fire brigade and a number of guard attending the scene.
Traffic is at a standstill at the site, with gardai trying to clear as much room as possible for traffic to get through, but there’s still a huge tailback northbound.
People are asked to avoid the area if possible and to find alternative routes.
