It is looking increasingly likely that Mick McCarthy will once again become the Report of Ireland manager according to reports.
According to Virgin Media News, the FAI have offered McCarthy a deal that will see him take over helm following Martin O’Neill’s departure.
Meanwhile sources at Sky Sports say McCarthy is expected to be named as O’Neill’s replacement within the next 48 hours.
If appointed McCarthy will take up the role which he held previously since 1996-2002.
