Over a thousand homes and businesses in Co Louth have been left with power this afternoon following an outage.
According to message on ESB Networks, about 1,500 people have been affected by the outage in the South of the county.
It is believed that the outage was caused by a major fault at the Drybridge power station.
ESB Networks say they are currently working on the issue and hope to have power restored early this evening.
