In breaking news this morning, the republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has a handful to deal with after a player returned from Slovakia and tested positive.
It’s understood that the player in question did not play the game last week but was in close contact to four players who did play the game and now all have to self isolate and miss the game after Wales this afternoon.
It’s understood that Stephen Kenny tested negative upon the return of the squad to Ireland.
